Darwin Investment Management

Darwin Investment Management sponsored the design of a show garden entitled ‘The Living Legacy Garden’ for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Our bespoke invitation was designed to invite key people to a round table discussion and drinks reception at the show garden. The invitation uses the flower motif from its visual identity, which was laser-cut out of the letter ‘D’ to reveal a beautiful floral background and core information about the event to the recipient.

We were also asked to design a brochure that told the compelling story of the link between The Wellington College and The Battle of Waterloo, and the significance of its 200th anniversary. We commissioned watercolour illustrations of various flower combinations that featured in the design of the garden itself. These colourful illustrations were used to punctuate the written content and add visual appeal to the brochure. To match the invitation design, the same visual device was used for the front cover but this time using vertical angular poles that had been featured within the actual garden design. These were die-cut out of the letter ‘D’ to reveal the stunning watercolour flowers underneath whilst also providing our client with a strong visual identity for ‘The Living Legacy Garden’.

We received overwhelming feedback from the thousands of visitors to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show about the quality of our garden booklet. Throughout the show, visitors could be heard commenting on how beautiful the booklet was and how it was of a much higher standard than any of the others they had received.”
